İngilizce Saatleri Söyleme

İngilizce'de "Saat kaç?" diye sormak için "What time is it?" ifadesini kullanırız. Saatleri söylerken kullandığımız temel kalıpları öğrenmek çok kolay!

Tam saatleri söylemek için "It's ... o'clock" kalıbını kullanırız. Örneğin: "It's seven o'clock" (Saat 7:00) veya "It's six o'clock" (Saat 6:00). Burada "o'clock" ifadesi tam saati belirtir.

Buçuk saatleri söylerken "half past" ifadesini kullanırız. Örneğin: "It's half past seven" (Saat 7:30) veya "It's half past five" (Saat 5:30). Ayrıca "It's thirty past seven" şeklinde de söylenebilir.

İpucu: Saatleri söylerken önce "It's" ile başlarız, sonra dakika ve en son saat söylenir. Örneğin 7:05 için "It's five past seven" deriz.

Saati geçe olarak ifade ederken "past" kelimesini kullanırız. Mesela: "It's five past seven" (Saat 7:05), "It's ten past eight" (Saat 8:10) veya "It's quarter past three" (Saat 3:15). Burada "quarter" 15 dakikayı ifade eder.

Saati kala olarak söylerken ise "to" kelimesini kullanırız. Örneğin: "It's three to five" (Saat 4:57), "It's five to eleven" (Saat 10:55) veya "It's quarter to four" (Saat 3:45). Burada söylediğimiz saat gelecek olan saattir.
