Edebi Akımlar ve Hümanizm

Edebiyat akımlarının doğuşu tesadüf değil - her biri belirli toplumsal olayların ve düşünce değişimlerinin sonucudur. Edebi akımlar, yaşadıkları dönemin sosyal, siyasi, ekonomik ve kültürel özelliklerini yansıtırken, bazen de önceki akımlara bir tepki olarak ortaya çıkar.

Bu akımların oluşmasında dört temel etmen var: toplumsal yapıdaki değişmeler, siyasi yönetim özellikleri, dönemin felsefi anlayışı ve sanatçıların değişiklik istemeleri. Bu etmenler bir araya geldiğinde yeni edebiyat anlayışları doğar.

Hümanizm akımı, 14. yüzyılda İtalya'da başlayan ve "insancılık" anlamına gelen ilk büyük edebiyat hareketidir. Hümanistler, insan sevgisini merkeze alarak edebiyat ve sanatta estetik kaygıları önemsediler. Bu akım, daha sonra gelecek tüm edebiyat akımlarına da ilham kaynağı oldu.
