Imaginate que tenés ácido fosfórico del 85% de pureza y querés saber cuánto fosfato de calcio podés producir. Este tipo de problema es súper común en la industria química real.

La reacción química que usamos es: 2H₃PO₄ + 3Ca(OH)₂ → Ca₃(PO₄)₂ + 6H₂O. Primero necesitás calcular las masas molares de cada compuesto para establecer las proporciones correctas.

El truco está en calcular primero la cantidad pura del reactivo. Si tenés 630 gr de ácido fosfórico al 85% de pureza, multiplicás: 630 × 85/100 = 535.5 gr de H₃PO₄ puro.

💡 Tip clave: Siempre convertí a gramos puros antes de hacer cualquier cálculo estequiométrico.

Después usás la proporción molar: 535.5 gr H₃PO₄ × 184grCa3(PO4)2/97grH3PO4184 gr Ca₃(PO₄)₂/97 gr H₃PO₄ = 408.5 gr de fosfato de calcio.

Para obtener 400 gr de Ca₃(PO₄)₂ al 90% de pureza, primero calculás la masa pura: 400 × 90/100 = 360 gr puros. Luego aplicás la estequiometría: 360 gr Ca₃(PO₄)₂ × 222grCa(OH)2/310grCa3(PO4)2222 gr Ca(OH)₂/310 gr Ca₃(PO₄)₂ = 257.80 gr de hidróxido de calcio.

El segundo ejemplo sigue la misma lógica: 150 gr al 75% = 112.5 gr puros, que requieren 80.56 gr de Ca(OH)₂. La clave es ser sistemático y no saltarse pasos.
