Medidas de capacidad y volumen

Las medidas de capacidad sirven para medir líquidos. Las unidades más comunes son el litro, mililitros, botella, galón y centímetros cúbicos (cc). Es importante recordar estas equivalencias:

  • 1 litro = 1000 cc
  • 1 botella = 45 cc
  • 1 galón = 5 botellas

Para calcular el volumen de un objeto, multiplicamos sus tres dimensiones: largo × ancho × alto. La fórmula es V = L × L × L y el resultado se expresa en metros cúbicos (m³).

Por ejemplo, si un tanque mide 4 m de largo, 1,50 m de ancho y 1,20 m de alto, su volumen será: V = 4 × 1,50 × 1,20 = 7,20 m³. De igual forma, un tanque de 3 m de largo, 2 m de ancho y 1 m de alto tendrá un volumen de 6 m³.

💡 Dato útil: Cuando calculamos volumen, siempre multiplicamos las tres dimensiones. ¡Es como averiguar cuántos cubitos pequeños caben dentro del objeto grande!
