¿Te imaginas dividir polinomios sin hacer cálculos largos y complicados? La regla de Ruffini es exactamente lo que necesitas para simplificar este proceso.

En este ejemplo vemos cómo dividir el polinomio $3x^3 + 2x^2 - 6x + 8entre entre x1x - 1$. Primero, escribes los coeficientes del polinomio en orden: 3, 2, -6, 8. Luego colocas el valor que hace cero al divisor (en este caso, 1) a la izquierda.

El procedimiento es simple: bajas el primer coeficiente, lo multiplicas por 1, y sumas con el siguiente coeficiente. Repites este proceso hasta completar toda la fila. Los números que obtienes al final (3, 5, -1) son los coeficientes del polinomio cociente, y el último número (7) es el residuo.

¡Dato clave! Si el residuo es cero, significa que el divisor es un factor del polinomio original, lo cual es súper útil para factorizar.
