Interés Simple vs Interés Compuesto

Imagina que tienes 100€ y los prestas a un amigo al 10% anual. Con interés simple, cada año ganas exactamente 10€, sin importar cuánto tiempo pase. Los intereses nunca se suman al capital original, así que siempre calculas el 10% sobre los 100€ iniciales.

La fórmula del interés simple es súper directa: Cf = Co + Co × r × t. Donde Co es tu capital inicial, r es el tipo de interés, t es el tiempo, y Cf es lo que tendrás al final.

Con interés compuesto la cosa cambia completamente. Los intereses que ganas cada año se suman a tu capital, y el año siguiente ganas intereses sobre esa cantidad mayor. Es como si tu dinero tuviera "bebés" que también producen más dinero.

¡Dato curioso! Einstein llamó al interés compuesto "la octava maravilla del mundo". Con interés compuesto, tus 100€ al 10% anual se convertirían en 110€ el primer año, pero 121€ el segundo (no 120€ como con interés simple).

La fórmula del interés compuesto es: Cf = Co × $1 + r/100$ ^t. Parece más complicada, pero una vez que la practicas, es pan comido.
