Fórmulas de área y volumen de cuerpos geométricos

Los cuerpos geométricos tridimensionales están por todas partes: pelotas, cajas, edificios... Y calcular su área y volumen es súper útil en la vida real.

Para los cuerpos de revolución como la esfera, cilindro y cono, las fórmulas incluyen π (pi ≈ 3,14). La esfera tiene área total = 4πr² y volumen = (4/3)πr³, donde r es el radio.

Los prismas y pirámides funcionan diferente. Los prismas (incluido el cubo) tienen volumen = área de la base × altura. Las pirámides dividen esto entre 3: volumen = (área base × altura)/3.

Truco clave: Los cilindros y conos son como prismas y pirámides, pero con bases circulares. ¡Sustituye el área del círculo (πr²) y listo!

Áreas y perímetros de figuras planas

Antes de calcular volúmenes, necesitas dominar las áreas y perímetros de las figuras planas. Son la base de todo lo demás.

Las figuras más básicas son fáciles: cuadrado aˊrea=lado2área = lado², rectángulo aˊrea=base×alturaárea = base × altura y triángulo aˊrea=base×altura÷2área = base × altura ÷ 2. Para el perímetro, simplemente suma todos los lados.

El círculo usa π: área = πr² y perímetro = 2πr. Los polígonos regulares (pentágono, hexágono) tienen una fórmula especial: área = (perímetro × apotema) ÷ 2.

Para figuras como el trapecio, suma las bases paralelas: área = B+bB + b × altura ÷ 2. El paralelogramo es igual que el rectángulo: base × altura.
