EKOK Problemleri ve Zaman Soruları
EKOK problemleri genellikle şu durumlarda karşına çıkar: nesneleri gruplar halinde düzenleme, zaman periyotları ve döngüsel olaylar. Bu tür sorularda "en az", "en küçük" gibi ifadeler gördüğünde EKOK bulman gerekiyor.
Örneğin, bir sepetteki güller 3'er ve 5'er olarak ayrılabiliyorsa, sepette en az kaç gül vardır? Burada EKOK(3,5) = 15 buluyoruz. Yani sepette en az 15 gül olmalı.
Eğer gül sayısının 100'den büyük en küçük değeri isteniyorsa, 15'in katlarını kontrol ederiz: 15, 30, 45, 60, 75, 90, 105... Cevap 105 gül olur!
İpucu: Zaman soruları (saat, gün, ay) ve "birlikte" kelimesi gördüğünde hemen EKOK düşün!

Dikkat edilmesi gereken özel durumlar da var! A ve B farklı doğal sayılar ve EKOK(A,B) = 24 olduğunda, bu sayıların toplamının en büyük değeri ne olabilir?
24'ün bölenlerini buluyoruz: 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 8, 12, 24. A ve B'nin farklı olması ve EKOK'larının 24 olması gerekiyor.
En büyük toplamı bulmak için mümkün olan en büyük çiftleri deneriz. Örneğin A=8, B=24 olursa EKOK(8,24)=24 olur ve toplam 32 eder.
Unutma: Ardışık iki sayının EBOB'u her zaman 1'dir. Birbirinin katı olan sayılarda ise EBOB küçük sayıya eşittir!
