çıkarılır. Örnek;

(-2)+(+5)=(+3)

Sayılarla İşlem Kuralları

Toplama işlemi yaparken farklı işaretli sayıları çıkarırız. Mesela $(-2)+(+5)$ işleminde, 2 ve 5 sayılarını çıkarıp, büyük olan sayının işaretini yazarız. 5 daha büyük olduğu için sonuç $(+3)$ olur.

Bölme işleminde zıt işaretli sayılar (biri pozitif, diğeri negatif) varsa sonuç her zaman negatiftir. Örneğin $(-4)÷(+12)=(-3)$ olur. Burada farklı işaretler olduğu için sonucumuz negatif çıktı.

Çarpma işleminde de bölme gibi, zıt işaretli sayılar çarpılırsa sonuç negatiftir. $(+3).(-4)=(-12)$ örneğinde olduğu gibi bir pozitif, bir negatif sayı çarptığımızda sonuç hep negatif olur.

Dikkat! Çıkarma işleminde sayıları çıkarıp en büyük sayının işaretini yazarız. $(-15)-(+9)=(-24)$ işleminde sayıları toplayıp işaretleri de dikkate alırız.
