Geometrinin Temel Kavramları

Geometri deyince aklına karmaşık şekiller gelmesin - aslında çok basit kavramlarla başlıyor! Nokta, geometride en küçük birimdir ve hiçbir boyutu yoktur. Genellikle A, B, C gibi büyük harflerle gösteririz.

Doğru parçası ise iki nokta arasındaki en kısa mesafedir. Mesela A ve B noktaları arasındaki doğru parçasını [AB] veya sadece AB şeklinde yazarız. Bu parçanın uzunluğunu göstermek için |AB| işaretini kullanırız.

Düzlem kavramı ise sonsuz genişlikte olan düz bir yüzeydir. Masanın üstü, duvardaki tahta gibi düşünebilirsin. Düzlemde sayısız nokta ve doğru bulunabilir.

Hatırla: Nokta boyutsuz, doğru parçası tek boyutlu, düzlem ise iki boyutludur!
