Fraza și relațiile dintre propoziții

Fraza este un grup de cuvinte organizate gramatical, care exprimă o idee completă. Ea conține de obicei un subiect (cine face acțiunea) și un predicat (acțiunea sau starea subiectului), plus alte elemente care îmbogățesc sensul.

În frază, propozițiile se leagă între ele prin două tipuri principale de raporturi: coordonare și subordonare. Raportul de coordonare se stabilește între propoziții de același fel. Acesta se realizează fie prin juxtapunere (folosind virgulă, punct și virgulă sau punct), fie prin joncțiune, folosind conjuncții:

Copulative: și, nici
Adversative: dar, iar, însă, ci
Disjunctive: ori, sau, fie
Conclusive: deci, așadar

Bine de știut: Când citești o frază, încearcă să identifici conjuncțiile - ele îți oferă indicii despre relația dintre propoziții!

Relația de subordonare se formează între o propoziție regentă și subordonata ei. Regenta poate fi principală sau secundară, dacă de ea depinde o altă subordonată. Elementele care marchează subordonarea sunt:

Conjuncții subordonatoare: că, să, ca să, dacă, încât
Pronume relative: care, cine, ce (plus prepoziții)
Adverbe relative: unde, când, cum, cât
Locuțiuni conjuncționale: pentru că, până să, fără să
