Asitler ve Bazların Temel Özellikleri

Asitler ve bazlar aslında düşündüğünden çok daha basit! Asitler H+ iyonu verirken, bazlar OH- iyonu verir.

Asitler mavi turnosolu kırmızıya çevirir ve elektrik akımını iletir. Kuvvetli asitler arasında HCl (tuz ruhu) ve H₂SO₄ (zaç yağı) var. Zayıf asitler ise genelde COOH ile biten maddeler - sirke, yoğurt, meyvelerdeki asitler gibi.

Bazlar tam tersi davranır - kırmızı turnosolu maviye çevirir ve eline değince kaygan his verir. Sabun, şampuan, deterjan gibi temizlik ürünlerinin çoğu baz içerir.

Asit ve Baz Çözünme Denklemleri ve Oksitler

Kuvvetli asitler suda tamamen iyonlaşır, bu yüzden tek yönlü ok (→) kullanırız. HCl → H⁺ + Cl⁻ gibi. Zayıf asitler ise kısmen iyonlaşır, çift yönlü ok (⇌) kullanırız.

Bazlarda da aynı mantık geçerli. NaOH gibi kuvvetli bazlar tamamen iyonlaşır: NaOH → Na⁺ + OH⁻. Amonyak (NH₃) gibi zayıf bazlar ise: NH₃ + H₂O ⇌ NH₄⁺ + OH⁻

Oksitlerle iş biraz daha karışık ama mantıklı. Ametal oksitler (CO₂, SO₂ gibi) genelde asit karakterli - suyla karıştırınca asit verirler. Metal oksitler ise bazik karakterli - suyla karıştırınca baz oluştururlar.

Amfoter oksitler hem asit hem bazla tepkime verir. "Al Sana Pabuç Zn metre Cr Bey" şarkısıyla hatırla: Al, Sn, Pb, Zn, Cr, Be!

💡 Sınav İpucu: Denklem yazarken iyon sayılarına dikkat et - Mg(OH)₂ → Mg²⁺ + 2OH⁻ gibi!
