Tempi del Presente e del Passato
Il Present Simple è il tuo migliore amico per le routine quotidiane. Lo usi quando parli di abitudini ("I work every day") o fatti sempre veri ("The sun rises in the east"). Se vedi parole come always, often o every day, è Present Simple sicuro!
Il Present Continuous invece cattura il momento: quello che sta succedendo proprio ora o temporaneamente. La formula è semplice: am/is/are + verbo con -ing. Quando leggi now o at the moment, è il segnale perfetto.
Per il passato, il Past Simple racconta storie finite: "I visited Paris last week". Il Past Continuous invece dipinge la scena di quello che stava accadendo: "She was cooking when I arrived". Ricorda: while e when sono i tuoi indicatori chiave!
💡 Trucco veloce: Se nell'inglese vedi -ing, l'azione è "in movimento" (presente o passata che sia). Senza -ing, è più "statica" o conclusa.

Present Perfect e Past Perfect
Il Present Perfect Simple è quello che confonde tutti, ma è geniale! Parla di cose del passato che hanno ancora effetto oggi. "I have finished my work" significa che ora sono libero. Occhio a just, already, yet e never - sono segnali chiarissimi!
Il Present Perfect Continuous aggiunge durata: "I have been studying for two hours" - hai iniziato prima e stai ancora studiando. For e since te lo fanno capire subito.
I Past Perfect (Simple e Continuous) servono quando hai due eventi passati e vuoi dire quale è successo prima. "I had finished before she arrived" - prima ho finito io, poi è arrivata lei. Il Past Perfect Continuous aggiunge quanto è durata la prima azione.
💡 Ricorda: Present Perfect = collegamento passato-presente. Past Perfect = "il passato del passato".

Futuro in Tutte le Salse
Will è per decisioni dell'ultimo minuto e previsioni: "I think it will rain". Be going to invece è per piani già decisi o quando vedi segni evidenti: "Look at those clouds - it's going to rain!"
Ma il futuro può nascondersi anche nei tempi presenti! Il Present Simple per orari fissi ("The train leaves at 6") e il Present Continuous per appuntamenti certi ("I'm meeting John tomorrow").
Il First Conditional gioca con le possibilità: "If it rains, we'll stay inside". Il Future Continuous ti dice cosa starai facendo in un momento specifico, mentre il Future Perfect cosa avrai già finito entro una certa data.
💡 Segreto: Will = spontaneo, Be going to = pianificato, Present tenses = super organizzato!

Question Words e Trucchi Finali
Le Subject Questions chiedono chi fa l'azione: "Who called you?" (non sai chi ha chiamato). Le Object Questions chiedono chi la subisce: "Who did you call?" (sai che hai chiamato tu, ma non sai chi).
La differenza è semplice: nelle Subject Questions non aggiungi do/does/did perché "who" è già il soggetto!
Ecco i trucchi che ti salveranno agli esami: Present Perfect se non dici quando ma conta l'effetto ora. Will se decidi sul momento. Be going to se hai già deciso. Future con Present Simple per programmi fissi, con Present Continuous per appuntamenti pianificati.
💡 Regola d'oro: Quando hai dubbi, pensa al "sentimento" del tempo - è spontaneo, pianificato, in corso o concluso?
