I Modi Per Esprimere il Futuro - Parte 1
Il present continuous for future è perfetto quando hai già organizzato tutto nei dettagli. Lo usi per parlare di cose che hai programmato e di cui sei sicurissimo, tipo "I'm working on a school project next week" (sto lavorando a un progetto scolastico la prossima settimana).
La cosa fantastica è che spesso aggiungi indicatori di tempo come tomorrow, next week, on Monday. La struttura è semplicissima: soggetto + verbo essere + verbo con -ing.
Il present simple for future invece lo usi per programmi fissi e costanti, specialmente con orari pubblici. Pensa a "The train leaves at half past eleven" - è un orario che non cambia mai!
Trucco furbo: Quando parli di te stesso, usa sempre il present continuous (I'm leaving at four), ma per orari fissi usa il present simple!
Il be going to è il tuo migliore amico per le intenzioni future. Quando dici "I'm going to go to Italy when I'm 22", stai parlando di un piano che hai in mente.

Be going to ha altri due super poteri! Lo usi quando qualcosa sta per succedere immediatamente ("The bomb is going to explode!") e per fare previsioni basate su quello che vedi davanti a te, come "Look at those clouds! It's going to rain."
La struttura è soggetto + verbo essere + going to + verbo. Facilissimo!
Will è il più versatile di tutti. Lo usi per fatti inevitabili ("Next year it will be 2024"), previsioni basate sulla tua opinione ("I think we will go to Mars in 100 years"), e decisioni improvvise del momento.
È perfetto anche per promesse, offerte e minacce. Spesso lo trovi con espressioni come "I think", "probably", "definitely". La struttura è semplicissima: soggetto + will + verbo.
Ricorda: Will per decisioni spontanee, be going to per piani già fatti!
Una volta che padroneggi questi quattro modi, potrai esprimere qualsiasi idea sul futuro con sicurezza e precisione!
