Tiempos Presente y Pasado
Present Simple es tu mejor amigo para rutinas y hechos. Úsalo para cosas que haces siempre (like "I play football on Sundays") o verdades universales como "Water boils at 100°C". Recuerda añadir "-s" en tercera persona singular.
El Present Continuous describe lo que está pasando ahora mismo o planes futuros confirmados. Fíjate en las palabras clave como "now", "at the moment" o "next Monday". Por ejemplo: "I am studying right now" o "We are going to the cinema tomorrow".
Para el pasado, el Past Simple cuenta acciones terminadas con palabras como "yesterday" o "last week". El Past Continuous describe acciones que estaban ocurriendo cuando algo las interrumpió: "I was watching TV when you called".
Truco: Si puedes decir "mientras" en español, probablemente necesites Past Continuous en inglés.

Para el futuro, will expresa decisiones espontáneas y predicciones: "I think it will rain". Be going to muestra intenciones y planes: "I'm going to study medicine". El Future Perfect indica acciones completadas en un momento futuro específico: "By June, we will have finished our exams".
Dato clave: "For" se usa con períodos de tiempo, "since" con puntos específicos en el tiempo.
