Present Simple vs Present Continuous
El Present Simple es tu mejor amigo para hablar de hábitos y rutinas. Lo usas cuando algo pasa siempre, a menudo o nunca. Por ejemplo: "I always play football on Mondays" o "She never drinks coffee".
El Present Continuous, en cambio, describe acciones que están pasando ahora mismo. Es como una foto en movimiento del momento presente. "I am studying right now" significa que estás estudiando en este preciso instante.
Las palabras clave te ayudarán un montón a decidir cuál usar. Para Present Simple: always, usually, often, sometimes, rarely, never, every day/week. Para Present Continuous: now, right now, at this moment, today.
💡 Truco: Si puedes añadir "right now" a tu frase y tiene sentido, probablemente necesitas Present Continuous.
Formas del Present Simple:
- ✅ I like / She likes
- ❌ I don't like / She doesn't like
- ❓ Do you like? / Does she like?
