Voz Pasiva en Inglés
La voz pasiva es tu mejor amiga cuando la acción es más importante que la persona que la hace. Por ejemplo, si querés hablar de un robo pero no sabés quién fue el ladrón, podés decir "the bank was robbed" (el banco fue robado).
¿Cómo la formás? Es súper fácil: usás el verbo TO BE en el tiempo correcto + el participio pasado del verbo principal. Si tenés "Shakespeare wrote Hamlet", en pasiva queda "Hamlet was written by Shakespeare".
Mirá estos ejemplos que te van a ayudar un montón:
- "Paul cleans the house" → "The house is cleaned by Paul"
- "Helen repaired the car" → "The car was repaired by Helen"
- "The police arrested the thieves" → "The thieves were arrested by the police"
Tip clave: El objeto de la oración activa se convierte en el sujeto de la pasiva. ¡Es como darle vuelta a la oración!
No te olvides de los pronombres de objeto (me, you, him, her, it, us, them) porque los vas a necesitar cuando practiques estas transformaciones.
