Introducción - Gramática Completa de Inglés

Esta guía te va a preparar para el acceso a ciclo superior y te quitará todos los miedos que puedas tener con el inglés. Lo primero que tienes que saber es que el inglés es súper fácil comparado con el español.

Solo hay tres tiempos verbales: presente, pasado y futuro. Nada de subjuntivos raros ni conjugaciones complicadas. Además, las estructuras son fijas - una para afirmativas, otra para negativas y otra para interrogativas.

💡 Tip clave: Usa siempre el diccionario y traduce las palabras que no conozcas. Así irás construyendo tu vocabulario poco a poco.

Los exámenes de acceso siguen siempre el mismo patrón, así que cuando domines estas bases, estarás listo para aprobar.

El Verbo TO BE - Tu Mejor Amigo

El verbo TO BE (ser y estar) es el más importante del inglés y tienes que aprenderlo de memoria. Sí, de memoria, pero es súper fácil porque solo hay tres formas: AM, ARE, IS.

Formas completas:

Afirmativa: I am, You are, He/She/It is, We are, You are, They are
Negativa: I am not, You are not, He is not...
Interrogativa: Am I?, Are you?, Is he?...

También puedes usar formas contraídas que suenan más naturales: I'm, You're, He's, She's... Para negativas: You aren't, He isn't, We aren't...

💡 Recuerda: En inglés no hay diferencias de género. "Peter is French" y "Susan is French" - la misma forma para chico y chica.

Pronombres y Estructuras Básicas

Los pronombres personales son: I (yo), You $tú/vosotros$ , He (él), She (ella), It $ello - para cosas$ , We (nosotros), They (ellos). El "You" sirve tanto para singular como plural - el contexto te dirá cuál es.

Las estructuras son súper simples:

Afirmativa: Sujeto + TO BE + Complementos
Negativa: Sujeto + TO BE + NOT + Complementos
Interrogativa: TO BE + Sujeto + Complementos?

💡 Clave fundamental: En inglés TODAS las oraciones necesitan sujeto. Sin sujeto, la frase está mal. Los verbos no se conjugan, por eso el sujeto es obligatorio.

Para preguntar la edad usa: "How old are you?" - I am 17.

Preguntas y Respuestas Cortas

Las respuestas cortas son súper útiles y naturales. No repitas toda la frase, solo di:

Afirmativa: Yes, + pronombre + verbo $Yes, she is / Yes, they are$
Negativa: No, + pronombre + verbo + not contracto $No, we aren't / No, he isn't$

En inglés solo va el signo de interrogación al final, nunca al principio como en español.

Las partículas interrogativas más importantes son: What (qué), When (cuándo), Where (dónde), Why (por qué), How (cómo), Who (quién). La estructura es: Question Word + TO BE + Sujeto + Complementos?

💡 Práctica: "Where are you from?" - I am from Spain. Así de fácil.

Partículas Interrogativas y Ejercicios

Ya conoces las question words básicas, pero hay algunas específicas que debes recordar:

How much? (¿cuánto?) - para cosas incontables
How many? (¿cuántos?) - para cosas contables
What time? (¿a qué hora?)
Whose? (¿de quién?)

La estructura siempre es la misma: Question Word + TO BE + Sujeto + Complementos?

💡 Consejo de estudio: Practica haciendo preguntas para respuestas dadas. Por ejemplo, si la respuesta es "From Germany", la pregunta sería "Where are you from?"

There Is / There Are - Expresar "Hay"

There is/There are significa "hay" en español. Es súper sencillo:

There is → singular
There are → plural

Estructuras:

Afirmativa: There is/are + complementos
Negativa: There is/are not + complementos
Interrogativa: Is/Are there + complementos?

💡 Ejemplos fáciles: "There is a new boy in my classroom" / "There aren't books on the table" / "Is there an empty chair here?"

Es una de las expresiones más usadas en inglés, así que practícala mucho.

Artículos - A/An y The

Los artículos en inglés son más fáciles que en español. Solo hay dos tipos:

A/AN $un/una$ - solo para singular contable:

Usa A normalmente: "a girl", "a boy"
Usa AN cuando la siguiente palabra empiece por vocal: "an elephant"
Es obligatorio con profesiones: "Jane is a teacher"

THE $el/la/los/las$ - para todo:

Cuando ya hemos hablado del objeto antes
Para cosas únicas: "the sun", "the moon"
Funciona igual en singular y plural, masculino y femenino

💡 Regla de oro: No uses artículo cuando hablas de grupos en general: "Oranges are fruits".

Adjetivos - Súper Simples

Los adjetivos en inglés son lo más fácil del mundo:

No tienen género (mismo adjetivo para masculino y femenino)
No tienen plural (solo el sustantivo lleva plural)
Siempre van DELANTE del sustantivo

Ejemplos: "Peter and Helen are happy" / "The English girl is thin" / "The red car is new"

💡 Ventaja: Un solo adjetivo sirve para todo. "Happy" vale para chico, chica, singular, plural... ¡Súper fácil!

Los ejercicios de traducción te ayudarán a automatizar el orden correcto: artículo + adjetivo + sustantivo + verbo TO BE + complemento.
