Simple Present Tense - Do/Does Kullanımı

Simple Present Tense'de olumlu, olumsuz ve soru cümleleri yaparken do/does yardımcı fiillerini kullanırız. Bu yapı aslında çok basit!

Tekil özneler (he, she, it) için does, çoğul özneler (I, you, we, they) için do kullanıyoruz. Örneğin: "He plays volleyball every day" cümlesinin olumsuz hali "He doesn't play volleyball every day" oluyor.

Soru cümleleri yaparken does/do'yu başa alıyoruz: "Does he play volleyball every day?" Kısa cevaplar da çok kolay: "Yes, he does" ya da "No, he doesn't."

İpucu: Tekil öznelerde does kullandığın zaman fiile -s/-es eki getirmiyorsun!

Simple Present Tense ile sıklık zarfları çok sık kullanılır çünkü bu zaman alışkanlıklarımızı anlatır. Bu zarflar ne kadar sık bir şey yaptığımızı gösterir.

Always (%100), usually (%90), often (%80), sometimes (%30) gibi zarflar cümlenin sonuna gelir. Never (%0) ve rarely (%5) ise nadiren yaptığımız şeyleri anlatır.

Zaman ifadeleri de süper önemli! Once a day (günde bir kere), twice a week (haftada iki kere), every morning (her sabah) gibi ifadeler rutin aktivitelerimizi net bir şekilde açıklar.
