İngilizce'de Saat Söyleme

Saati İngilizce söylemek aslında çok kolay! O'clock kelimesi tam saatleri belirtmek için kullanılır. Mesela "3 o'clock" dersin 3:00 için.

Dakikalı saatler için past ve to kelimelerini kullanıyoruz. Dakika 30'dan azsa "past", fazlaysa "to" kullanırız. Half past yarım saati, quarter past çeyrek geçeyi, quarter to çeyrek kalayı ifade eder.

Gün içindeki zamanları da belirtmek önemli! In the morning (sabahleyin), in the afternoon (öğleden sonra), in the evening (akşamleyin) ve at night (geceleri) ifadelerini kullanıyoruz.

İpucu: Saat 6:30'u "half past six" diye okuduğunu unutma! Yarım saat geçmiş demek.
