Kişilik Özellikleri Sıfatları

Arkadaşlarını nasıl tarif edersin? Bu sayfada kişilik özelliklerini anlatan önemli sıfatları öğreneceksin.

Pozitif özellikler arasında honest (dürüst), generous (cömert), helpful (yardımsever), punctual (dakik) ve outgoing (sosyal) var. Negatif özellikler ise selfish (bencil), stubborn (inatçı), lazy (tembel), forgetful (unutkan) ve shy (utangaç) gibi sıfatlar.

Bu sıfatları doğru kullanabilmek için cümle yapılarını iyi öğrenmen gerekiyor. Örneğin "He is honest" derken kişinin dürüst olduğunu, "She is outgoing" derken sosyal olduğunu belirtiyorsun.

İpucu: Bu sıfatları günlük hayattan örneklerle ezberle. Mesela sınıfındaki arkadaşlarını bu kelimelerle tarif etmeye çalış!

Fiziksel Görünüş ve Kişilik Soruları

İngilizcede birini tanımlarken iki farklı soru türü kullanıyoruz ve bunları karıştırmamak çok önemli.

"What does he/she look like?" sorusu fiziksel görünüş için kullanılır. Cevabında boy, kilo, saç rengi gibi dış görünüş özellikleri söylenir. Örnek: "She is tall and slim. She has got long black hair."

"What is he/she like?" sorusu ise kişilik özellikleri için kullanılır. Cevabında karakter özellikleri belirtilir. Örnek: "He is kind and funny."

Dikkat: "Look like" fiziksel görünüş, "like" ise karakter için kullanılır. Bu farkı unutma!

Soru Cevap Uygulamaları

Bu bölümde verilen cevaplara uygun soru yazma pratiği yapacaksın. Bu tür sorular sınavlarda çok çıkar!

Cevap fiziksel özelliklerden bahsediyorsa (tall, slim, blonde hair, blue eyes) "What does he/she look like?" sorusunu kullan. Cevap karakter özelliklerinden bahsediyorsa (honest, kind, helpful) "What is he/she like?" sorusunu kullan.

Örneğin "She is honest. She never tells lies." cevabına uygun soru "What is she like?" olur çünkü dürüstlük bir karakter özelliğidir.

Sınav İpucu: Cevabı okurken önce fiziksel mi karakter özelliği mi olduğunu belirle, sonra soruyu yaz. Bu yöntemle hiç hata yapmayacaksın!
