Vahşi Hayvanlar ve Yaşam Alanları

Vahşi hayvanlar denince aklına ilk gelen hayvanlar neler? Aslan, kaplan, fil gibi büyük hayvanlardan, penguen, yunus gibi sevimli hayvanlara kadar birçok wild animal var. Bu kelimeleri ezberlerken her hayvanı kendi habitat (yaşam alanı) ile birlikte düşünmek çok daha etkili oluyor.

Mesela polar bear (kutup ayısı) soğuk bölgelerde yaşarken, camel (deve) desert (çöl) de yaşıyor. Dolphin (yunus) ve whale (balina) gibi hayvanlar ocean (okyanus) da yaşarken, eagle (kartal) ve owl (baykuş) sky (gökyüzü) nde uçuyor.

Hayvanların vücut bölümlerini öğrenirken claw (pençe), wing (kanat), trunk (filin hortumu) gibi özel kelimelere dikkat et. Mammals (memeliler), reptiles (sürüngenler), carnivores (etoburlar) gibi hayvan türleri de sınavlarda sıkça çıkıyor.

İpucu: Hayvan isimlerini öğrenirken onların seslerini taklit etmek veya resimlerle eşleştirmek hafızanda daha kalıcı hale getiriyor!

Hayvanları Tanımlama ve Çevre Koruma

Hayvanları tanımlarken dangerous (tehlikeli), enormous (devasa), poisonous (zehirli) gibi sıfatları kullanabiliyorsun. Bir aslan majestic (heybetli) olabilirken, bir koala cute (sevimli) olabilir. Bu sıfatlar hayvanları daha detaylı anlatmana yardımcı oluyor.

Endangered animals (nesli tükenmekte olan hayvanlar) ve extinct animals (nesli tükenmiş hayvanlar) konusu çok önemli. Global warming (küresel ısınma) yüzünden birçok hayvanın habitat (yaşam alanı) yok oluyor. Bu durumda take precautions (tedbir almak) gerekiyor.

Çevre koruma için önerilerde bulunurken "We should..." ve "We shouldn't..." kalıplarını kullanıyoruz. "We should protect wild animals" veya "We shouldn't hunt them" gibi cümleler kurabilirsin. Plant trees (ağaç dikmek), keep clean (temiz tutmak) gibi eylemler de önemli.

Dikkat: "Should" ile öneri cümlelerinde "to" kullanmıyoruz. "We should protect" doğru, "We should to protect" yanlış!
