Günlük Yaşam İfadeleri

Okul, ev ve sosyal hayatla ilgili birçok eylem İngilizce'de çok kullanılır. Mesela sabah rutini için wake up (uyanmak), get out of bed (yataktan kalkmak) ve get dressed (giyinmek) ifadelerini kullanırız. Okulla ilgili arrive at school (okula varmak), study lesson (ders çalışmak) ve do homework (ödev yapmak) gibi ifadeler çok işimize yarar.

Günlük aktivitelerimiz için have breakfast/lunch/dinner $kahvaltı/öğle yemeği/akşam yemeği yapmak$ , play soccer (futbol oynamak) ve meet friends (arkadaşlarla buluşmak) gibi ifadeleri kullanırız. Dinlenmek için have a rest (dinlenmek), take a nap (kestirmek) ve go to bed (yatmak) deriz.

Evdeki sorumluluklarımızı anlatırken clean (temizlemek), wash (yıkamak), help parents (anne babaya yardım etmek) ve tidy room (odayı toplamak) ifadeleri çok kullanışlıdır. Sosyal aktiviteler için go shopping (alışverişe gitmek), visit relatives (akrabaları ziyaret etmek) ve hang around (gezmek) diyebiliriz.

Yardımcı Kelimeler ve Zaman İfadeleri

İngilizce'de cümlelerimizi bağlamak için bazı küçük ama önemli kelimeler kullanırız. Because (çünkü), but (fakat), after (sonra) ve before (önce) gibi kelimeler cümlelerimizi akıcı hale getirir. Ayrıca with (ile), about (hakkında) ve until $-e kadar$ gibi ifadeler konuşmalarımızda sık kullanılır.

Soru sorarken kullanacağımız soru kelimeleri de çok önemlidir. When (ne zaman), where $nerede/nereye$ , what time (saat kaçta) ve how (nasıl) gibi kelimelerle bilgi alabiliriz. Whose (kimin) ve which (hangi) kelimeleri de belirli şeyler hakkında soru sormak için çok işe yarar.

Zaman belirten ifadeler konuşmalarımıza netlik katar. Always (her zaman), never (hiç), often (sık sık) ve rarely (nadiren) gibi kelimeler bir şeyin ne sıklıkta olduğunu belirtir. In the mornings (sabahları), at night (gece) ve at the weekends (hafta sonları) gibi ifadelerle ne zaman bir şey yaptığımızı açıklarız.

Önemli not: Zaman ifadelerini doğru yerde kullanmak, İngilizce cümlelerinizi daha anlaşılır yapar. Genellikle cümlenin başında veya sonunda kullanılırlar. Örneğin: "I always brush my teeth in the mornings" veya "In the evenings, I often watch TV."
