Cómo resolver circuitos eléctricos paso a paso

¿Alguna vez te has preguntado por qué las luces de tu casa funcionan de forma diferente a las de un árbol de Navidad? Todo depende de si están conectadas en serie o en paralelo.

En los circuitos en serie, las resistencias van una tras otra, como vagones de tren. Para calcular la resistencia total, simplemente sumas todas: RT = R1 + R2 + R3. La corriente es la misma en todos los puntos, pero el voltaje se reparte entre cada resistencia.

Los circuitos en paralelo son diferentes: cada resistencia tiene su propio camino. Aquí el voltaje es igual para todas VT=V1=V2=V3VT = V1 = V2 = V3, pero la corriente se divide. Para la resistencia total usas la fórmula: 1/RT = 1/R1 + 1/R2 + 1/R3.

Truco clave: En serie sumas resistencias directamente, en paralelo sumas sus inversos. ¡Es al revés de lo que podrías pensar!

La ley de Ohm V=I×RV = I × R es tu herramienta principal para todos los cálculos. Con ella puedes encontrar cualquier valor que te falte, y siempre puedes comprobar tus resultados verificando que las potencias y voltajes sumen correctamente.
