Past Simple: Tu Guía para Hablar del Pasado
El Past Simple te permite hablar de cosas que ya pasaron y terminaron completamente. Es como cuando le cuentas a tus amigos qué hiciste el fin de semana pasado.
Los verbos regulares son súper fáciles: solo agregas "-ed" al final (play → played, work → worked). Pero cuidado con las reglas de ortografía: si el verbo termina en "-e", solo añades "-d" (dance → danced). Si termina en consonante + "y", cambias la "y" por "-ied" (study → studied).
Los verbos irregulares son los rebeldes del inglés. No siguen reglas y tienes que memorizarlos: go → went, eat → ate, see → saw. Parece difícil, pero con práctica se vuelve automático.
💡 Tip clave: Los marcadores de tiempo como "yesterday", "last week" o "two days ago" son señales perfectas de que necesitas usar Past Simple.
Para hacer preguntas, usa "did" + sujeto + verbo base: "Did you watch TV yesterday?" Para negaciones, usa "didn't" + verbo base: "I didn't go to school."
