La Persona y sus Componentes

La persona humana se compone de cuerpo (dimensión material) y alma (dimensión inmaterial). Mientras el cuerpo es físico y perecedero, el alma se considera inmaterial y no perecedera, representando nuestra esencia permanente.

El movimiento es un indicador fundamental para distinguir lo vivo de lo no vivo. Cuando algo se mueve por sí mismo, consideramos que tiene vida; cuando es movido solo por otros, carece de ella. Esta distinción es clave para entender la naturaleza de los seres.

La filosofía tradicional distingue tres tipos de alma: vegetativa (responsable del ciclo vital), sensitiva/animal (permite el desplazamiento por supervivencia y las percepciones sensoriales) y humana (añade el movimiento racional, la inteligencia y la búsqueda de la verdad y el bien).
