Mitolohiya at ang Kwentong "Cupid at Psyche"

Alam niyo ba na ang mitolohiya ay hindi lang basta-basta kwento? Ito yung collective stories ng mga ancient civilizations tungkol sa kanilang gods at goddesses na ginagamit nila para explain ang mundo.

Ang salitang mito o myth ay galing sa Latin na "mythos" at Greek na "muthos" na ibig sabihin ay kwento. Fun fact: ang "muthos" ay galing pa sa "mu" na meaning ay paglikha ng tunog sa bibig - kumbaga, storytelling talaga!

Sa Roman mythology, maraming familiar names tulad ni Jupiter (king of gods), Venus (goddess of beauty), at Mars (god of war). Pero ang pinaka-interesting love story ay yung kay Cupid at Psyche.

Si Psyche ay sobrang ganda na naging jealous si Venus. Inutos niya kay Cupid na paibigin si Psyche sa isang monster, pero plot twist - nafall in love si Cupid kay Psyche! May mga trials pa na dumaan si Psyche para makasama niya si Cupid forever, at sa huli ay naging immortal siya through Ambrosia.

Panlapi at Pokus ng Pandiwa

Napaka-practical ng panlapi sa Filipino grammar! Ito yung mga syllables na dinaragdag natin sa salitang-ugat para makabuo ng meaningful words.

May apat na uri ng panlapi: Unlapi $sa simula - nagbasa$ , Gitlapi $sa gitna - binasa$ , Hulapi $sa dulo - basain$ , at Kabilaan $sa simula at dulo - nagbasaan$ . Sobrang simple lang once makuha niyo ang pattern!

Pagdating naman sa pokus ng pandiwa, ito yung relationship ng subject at predicate sa sentence. May dalawang main parts ang pangungusap: paksa (subject) at panaguri (predicate).

May apat na uri ng pokus: Tagaganap $actor focus - "sino?"$ , Layon $goal focus - "ano?"$ , Tagatanggap $beneficiary focus - "para kanino?"$ , at Kagamitan $instrumental focus - "ano ang ginamit?"$ . Each focus type may specific markers na ginagamit.

Remember: Ang pokus ng pandiwa ay nagdedetermine kung sino o ano ang emphasis ng sentence!

Parabula at mga Elemento Nito

Ang parabula ay short stories na may moral lesson na usually galing sa Bible. Different siya sa pabula kasi sa parabula, mga tao ang characters, hindi animals.

Sa Greek, "parabole" means pagtatabi ng dalawang bagay para pagtularin - perfect description ng parabula! Ginagamit nila ang talinghaga para mag-convey ng deeper spiritual truths.

Ang mga elemento ng parabula ay tauhan (biblical characters), tagpuan (realistic settings), banghay (sequence of events), at aral (moral lesson). Lahat ng ito ay nag-work together para magbigay ng meaningful message.

Para sa sanhi (cause), ginagamit natin ang "dahil sa," "sapagkat," "kasi." Para sa bunga (effect), may "kaya," "kung kaya," "tuloy," "bunga." Ang mga connecting words na ito ay sobrang helpful para gumawa ng coherent at logical na compositions.

Maikling Kwento at mga Elemento

Ang maikling kwento ay short fictional narrative na patalata ang format. Unlike sa novels, focused siya sa one main event or character development.

Ang tauhan ay pwedeng tauhang bilog (character na nagbabago throughout the story) o tauhang lapad (static character na walang major change). Ang tagpuan naman ay setting kung saan at kailan nangyari ang story.

Ang banghay ay may specific structure: Panimula (introduction), Saglit na Kasiglahan (rising action), Kasukdulan (climax), Kakalasan (falling action), at Wakas $resolution/ending$ . May ding tunggalian na pwedeng tao vs tao, tao vs sarili, tao vs lipunan, o tao vs kalikasan.

Sample story na na-analyze natin ay "Ang Kwintas" ni Guy de Maupassant na nagpapakita ng irony. Si Mathilde ay nag-struggle para mapalitan ang nawala niyang hiram na kwintas, tapos malaman niya na fake lang pala ito!

Analysis Tip: Tignan niyo kung kwento ng tauhan $character-driven$ o kwentong makabanghay $plot-driven$ ang binabasa niyo!

Anapora, Katapora, at Nobela

Ang anapora at katapora ay positioning ng pronouns at nouns sa sentence. Sa anapora, nauuna ang pangalan bago ang panghalip ("Si Arnold ay umuwi. Siya ay nagmula sa paaralan"). Sa katapora, baliktad - pronoun muna, pangalan later.

Ang nobela naman ay mahabang narrative na divided into chapters. Unlike sa maikling kwento, maraming tagpuan at tauhan ang nobela, at usually focused sa society at culture ng isang lugar.

Ang elements ng nobela ay similar sa short story pero mas complex: tauhan (characters), tagpuan (setting), banghay (plot), pananaw (point of view), pananalita (dialogue), tema (theme), damdamin (emotions), pamamaraan (style), at simbolismo (symbolism).

Sa teoryang humanismo, nag-analyze tayo ng characters based sa kanilang emotions at motivations. Example ay "Ang Kuba ng Notre Dame" where each character represents different aspects of humanity - si Quasimodo (loyal love), La Esmeralda (beauty and humility), Claude Frollo (manipulation), at Phoebus (cowardice).
