Kuvvet Nedir ve Özellikleri Nelerdir?

Günde kaç kez bir şeyleri iter, çeker ya da hareket ettirirsin? İşte yaptığın her şey kuvvet uygulamak demek. Kuvvet, cisimleri hareket ettiren, durduran veya şekillerini değiştiren özel bir etkidir.

Kuvvetin en önemli özelliği hem büyüklüğü hem de yönü olmasıdır. Bu ona vektörel büyüklük denir. Mesela bir kapıyı iterken hem ne kadar güçlü ittiğin hem de hangi yöne ittiğin önemlidir.

Bazen bir cisme birden fazla kuvvet aynı anda etki eder. İşte burada bileşke kuvvet devreye girer! Bileşke kuvvet, tüm kuvvetlerin birleşik etkisini tek bir kuvvet olarak gösterir ve "R" harfi ile yazılır.

Aynı yönlü kuvvetler için hesaplama çok kolay: büyüklükleri topla! Örneğin aynı yönde 5 N ve 3 N'luk iki kuvvet varsa, bileşke kuvvet 8 N olur.

Zıt yönlü kuvvetler ise birbirini zayıflatır. Bu durumda büyük kuvvetten küçük kuvveti çıkarırsın. 7 N ve 4 N'luk zıt yönlü kuvvetlerin bileşkesi 3 N eder.
