FEN BILIMLERI - KUVVET VE HAREKET (6. SINIF)

1. Kuvvet Nedir?

- Kuvvet; bir cismi itme, cekme ya da sekil degistirme etkisidir.

Kuvvet ve Etkileri

Kuvvet, cisimleri iten, çeken veya şeklini değiştiren bir etkidir. F harfi ile gösterilir ve Newton (N) birimiyle ölçülür. Ölçüm için dinamometre kullanılır.

Kuvvetin cisimlere çok farklı etkileri olabilir. Duran bir cismi harekete geçirebilir veya hareket halindeki bir cismi durdurabilir. Ayrıca hareket eden bir cismin yönünü değiştirebilir ya da şeklini bozabilir.

Kuvvetleri iki gruba ayırabiliriz: Temas gerektiren kuvvetler ve temas gerektirmeyen kuvvetler. Sürtünme kuvveti, kas kuvveti, itme-çekme gibi kuvvetler için cisimlerle temas gerekir. Yerçekimi, manyetik kuvvet ve elektriksel kuvvet ise temas gerektirmez.

Bunu biliyor muydun? Sürtünme kuvveti olmasaydı, yürüyemez, koşamaz, bisiklet süremez, hatta kalem bile tutamazdın! Ama makinelerde sürtünme genelde zararlıdır ve parçaların aşınmasına neden olur.

Kuvvetlerin Birleşimi ve Dengelenmesi

Cisimlere genellikle birden fazla kuvvet etki eder. Aynı doğrultudaki kuvvetler toplanır, zıt yöndeki kuvvetler ise birbirinden çıkarılır. Bu işlemler sonunda ortaya çıkan kuvvete bileşke kuvvet denir.

Bazen kuvvetler birbirini tamamen yok edebilir. Bir cisme etki eden kuvveti yok eden, eşit büyüklükte ve zıt yönde uygulanan kuvvete dengeleyici kuvvet denir. Örneğin, 5N'luk iki kuvvet zıt yönlerde uygulandığında bileşke kuvvet 0 olur ve cisim dengede kalır.
