Çiçeğin Yapısı ve Üreme Organları

Çiçekler aslında bitkilerin üreme organlarıdır ve her parçasının özel bir görevi vardır. Erkek üreme organı olan erkek organında polenler oluşur, dişi üreme organı olan dişicik ise yumurtalığı barındırır.

Taç yapraklar çiçeğe güzel renk ve koku vererek arıları çeker. Çanak yapraklar ise yeşil renkli olup çiçeği tomurcuk halindeyken korur. Tepecik kısmında yapışkan salyalar bulunur, böylece polenler buraya kolayca yapışabilir.

Sap çiçeği gövdeye bağlarken, dişicik borusu polenin yumurtalığa ulaşmasını sağlar. Bu sistemde her parça mükemmel bir uyum içinde çalışır.

Tozlaşma, Döllenme ve Çimlenme

Tozlaşma polenin tepeciğe ulaşması demektir. Bu süreçte rüzgar, hayvanlar ve yağmur etkili olur. Arılar çiçekten çiçeğe uçarken fark etmeden bu işi yaparlar.

Döllenme ise polenin dişicik borusundan geçerek yumurta hücresiyle birleşmesi sürecidir. Bu birleşme sonucu zigot, sonra embriyo ve en sonunda tohum oluşur.

Çimlenme tohumun toprakta yetişip gelişmesidir. Bunun için mutlaka su, oksijen ve uygun nem gereklidir. Çimlenme için gerekli enerji tohumun içinde saklanır, bu yüzden ilk başta gübre bile gerekmez!
