Dünyada dört mevsim var ve bunlar belirli tarihlerde değişiyor. 21 Mart ve 23 Eylül ekinoks günleri - yani gece ile gündüz eşit sürüyor.

21 Haziran en uzun gündüz (yaz), 21 Aralık ise en kısa gündüz (kış) demektir. Kuzey Yarımküre'de yaşadığımız için yazın gündüzler uzun, kışın kısa oluyor.

Kalıtımda ise canlıların özelliklerini genler belirliyor. Homozigot (BB gibi) aynı genlerden oluşurken, heterozigot (Bb gibi) farklı genlerden oluşuyor. Baskın gen her zaman kendini gösterir, çekinik gen ise sadece tek başına kaldığında ortaya çıkar.

💡 Hatırla: Mor çiçek baskın, beyaz çiçek çekinik özellik. İki mor çiçekli bitkiyi çaprazlasan bile bazen beyaz çiçek çıkabilir!
