Yıldızların Yaşam Döngüsü

Yıldızlar tıpkı canlılar gibi doğar, yaşar ve ölür. Nebula denilen dev gaz bulutlarından başlayarak, kütlelerine göre farklı yollar izlerler ve hayatlarının sonunda çok farklı şeylere dönüşebilirler.

Küçük kütleli yıldızlar daha sakin bir yaşam sürer. Önce kırmızı dev haline gelir, sonra dış katmanlarını atarak gezegenimsi bulutsu oluşturur ve en sonunda beyaz cüce olarak hayatlarını tamamlar.

Büyük kütleli yıldızlar ise çok daha dramatik! Kırmızı üst dev olduktan sonra müthiş bir supernova patlaması yapar. Bu patlamadan sonra ya nötron yıldızı ya da kara delik haline gelirler.
