Sürat Kavramı ve Hesaplanması

Sürat, bir cismin birim zamanda aldığı yoldur. Eğer bir hareketli, eşit zamanlarda eşit yollar alıyorsa buna sabit süratli hareket denir. Örneğin 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 saniyede sırasıyla 5, 10, 15, 20, 25 metre yol alan bir cisim sabit süratli hareket ediyordur.

Sürat hesaplamak için kullanılan formül çok basittir: Sürat = Yol ÷ Zaman. Bu formülü uygulayarak herhangi bir cismin ne kadar hızlı gittiğini bulabilirsin. Sürati hesaplarken yolun birimi metre veya kilometre, zamanın birimi ise saniye veya saat olabilir.

Hareket eden cisimlerin süratlerini karşılaştırdığımızda, aynı zamanda daha fazla yol alan cisim daha süratlidir. Grafikte de görebileceğin gibi, yola en yakın, en dik çizgi en süratli hareketi gösterir.

Bilgi Kutusu: Sürat "v" harfi ile gösterilir ve birimi m/sn $metre/saniye$ ya da km/sa $kilometre/saat$ şeklindedir. Yol "x" harfi ile, zaman ise "t" harfi ile gösterilir.

Sürat-zaman grafiğinde hareketleri kolayca yorumlayabilirsin. Grafikte yukarı doğru yükselen çizgi hızlanmayı, düz yatay çizgi sabit süratli hareketi, aşağı inen çizgi ise yavaşlamayı gösterir. Bu grafikler sayesinde bir cismin nasıl hareket ettiğini tek bakışta anlayabilirsin.
