Realismus a naturalismus - hlavní rysy a autoři

Realismus a naturalismus vznikly ve druhé polovině 19. století ve Francii a rychle se rozšířily po celé Evropě. Tyto směry chtěly zobrazovat skutečnost takovou, jaká opravdu je - bez příkras a idealizace.

Hlavní znaky těchto směrů zahrnují objektivitu v popisu, typizaci postav a kritiku společnosti. Autoři používali více vrstev jazyka a zaměřovali se na pravdivé zobrazení různých společenských tříd. Naturalismus šel ještě dál a zdůrazňoval vliv dědičnosti a pudovosti na lidské chování.

Ve Francii dominovali autoři jako Gustave Flaubert s románem Paní Bovaryová, Honoré de Balzac s cyklem Lidská komedie a románem Otec Goriot, Guy de Maupassant s povídkami Kulička a Miláček, a Émile Zola s cyklem Rougon-Macquartové.

Tip: Zapamatuj si, že Balzac je známý svými dokonalými popisy a detaily, zatímco Maupassant se proslavil objektivními popisy a Zola studoval společnost skrze své rodinné ságy.
