Enlem Etkisi ve Meridyenler

Ekvatordan kutuplara doğru gidildikçe Güneş ışınlarının yere düşme açısı değişir ve buna enlem etkisi denir. Bu etki birçok coğrafi olayı doğrudan etkiler. Mesela enlem arttıkça sıcaklık azalır, farklı iklim ve bitki örtüsü kuşakları oluşur.
