Teoría Celular y Clasificación de los Seres Vivos

La teoría celular es uno de los conceptos más importantes de la biología. Todo comenzó en 1839 cuando M. Schleiden y T. Schwann propusieron esta teoría revolucionaria. En 1861, Bruke definió la célula como la unidad vital, morfológica, fisiológica y genética de todos los seres vivos.

La teoría celular tiene tres postulados fundamentales: todos los organismos están formados por una o más células, la célula es la unidad estructural y funcional de todos los seres vivos, y la continuidad de la vida proviene de la división de células preexistentes. Rudolf Virchow agregó un cuarto postulado en 1858: "Omni cellula e cellula" (toda célula proviene de otra célula).

Los seres vivos se clasifican en diferentes reinos: Monera (bacterias), Protoctista (protozoos y algas), Fungi (hongos), Vegetal (plantas) y Animal. Cada reino agrupa organismos con características similares. Las bacterias pueden ser extremófilas (50°C), psicrófilas 520°C5-20°C o mesófilas 1535°C15-35°C, y pueden vivir con oxígeno (aerobias) o sin él (anaerobias).
