Almanca Selamlaşma ve Hal Hatır Sorma

Almancada tanışırken ilk öğreneceğin ifadeler genellikle hal hatır sormakla başlar. "Wie geht es Ihnen?" (Nasılsınız?) resmi bir hitap şekliyken, "Wie geht es dir?" (Nasılsın?) arkadaşlarına soracağın daha samimi bir ifadedir.

Bu sorulara verebileceğin cevaplar durumuna göre değişir: "Mir geht es gut" ya da "Es geht mir gut" (İyiyim), "Mir geht es nicht gut" (İyi değilim) veya "Mir geht es schlecht" (Kötüyüm). Kendini harika hissettiğinde "Mir geht es prima" (Harikayım) diyebilirsin.

Almanca alfabe Türkçe alfabeden biraz farklıdır. Özel harfler içerir: Ä, Ö, Ü ve ß. Her harfin Almancada kendine özgü bir telaffuzu vardır, örneğin "W" harfi "ve" olarak telaffuz edilir.

Temel sayılar: 0 (null), 1 (eins), 2 (zwei), 3 (drei) ile başlayıp 10 (zehn), 11 (elf), 12 (zwölf) şeklinde devam eder. 13 (dreizehn) ile 19 (neunzehn) arasındaki sayılar "-zehn" ekini alırken, 20 (zwanzig) yeni bir yapı başlatır.
