Selamlaşma ve Vedalaşma
Almanca'da insanlarla tanışırken "Hallo" (Merhaba) veya "Guten Morgen" (Günaydın) diyebilirsin. Günün ilerleyen saatlerinde "Guten Tag" (İyi günler) veya akşam için "Guten Abend" (İyi akşamlar) kullanabilirsin.
Kendini tanıtmak için birkaç farklı cümle kullanabilirsin. Birisi "Wie heißt du?" (Adın ne?) diye sorarsa, "Ich heiße..." (Benim adım...) diyerek cevap verebilirsin. Ya da "Wer bist du?" (Kimsin?) sorusuna "Ich bin..." (Ben...) şeklinde cevap verebilirsin.
Birisiyle konuşmayı bitirdiğinde "Tschüss" (Hoşça kal) veya daha resmi olarak "Auf Wiedersehen" (Görüşmek üzere) diyebilirsin. Yatmadan önce "Gute Nacht" (İyi geceler) demek de uygundur.
İpucu: Almanca'da haftanın günleri (die Tage) "der" ile başlar: der Montag, der Dienstag, der Mittwoch, der Donnerstag, der Freitag, der Samstag ve der Sonntag. Bu kelimeleri öğrenmek günlük konuşmalarda çok işine yarayacak!
Teşekkür etmek için "Danke" veya "Danke schön" (Teşekkür ederim), karşılığında "Bitte" veya "Bitte schön" (Rica ederim) diyebilirsin. Almanca'da "Evet" için "Ja", "Hayır" için "Nein" kullanılır.
