道案内と場所を表す単語
街で道を聞かれたとき、「まっすぐに」「左に」「右に」 の表現は超重要だよ。straight、left、right は絶対に覚えておこう。
「何とおっしゃいましたか？」 は Pardon me? で表現できる。聞き取れなかったときに使う便利なフレーズだね。「ええっと...」 は Let's see... で、考えているときに使えるよ。
hospital（病院）、building（ビル）、factory（工場）、traffic light（信号） なども道案内でよく出てくる単語。「〜を探しています」 は looking for を使って表現しよう。
ポイント: 道案内では「ごめんなさい」や「怒らないで」という表現も大切。相手に親切に対応する気持ちを英語で伝えられるようになろう！

「たくさんの」 を表す a lot of は会話でめちゃくちゃ使える表現だよ。animals（動物） や family（家族） について話すときにも活躍する。

現在進行形の文法
現在進行形 は「今〜している」を表す超重要な文法だよ！am/are/is + 動詞のing形 で作るんだ。
「私は今テレビを見ています」 は I am watching TV now になる。疑問文では am/are/is を主語の前に持ってきて、Are you walking around a lake? みたいに作るよ。
What を使った疑問文も覚えよう。What are people doing? で「人々は何をしていますか？」と聞ける。答えは They are taking pictures のように ing形 で返すんだ。
実践のコツ: 今自分がしていることを英語でつぶやく習慣をつけよう。「I am studying English now」みたいに、日常で使えば自然に身につくよ！
