品詞・文型・時制の基本
英語って実は8つの品詞でできてるんだ。名詞（dog, book）、代名詞（I, you）、動詞（run, is）は絶対覚えよう。形容詞は名詞を説明して、副詞は動詞や形容詞を詳しく説明するよ。
5つの文型も意外とシンプル！第1文型（S+V）から第5文型（S+V+O+C）まで、パターンを覚えれば英作文が楽になる。特に第4文型の「I gave her a book」みたいな間接目的語のパターンはテストによく出るから要注意。
時制は現在・過去・未来の基本形から、進行形、完了形まで覚えよう。現在完了形は「過去から現在まで続く」「経験」「完了・結果」を表すから、日本語との違いをしっかり理解しておこう。
ポイント： 文型は英語の骨組み！まずは第1〜第3文型を完璧にしよう

関係詞・受動態・仮定法
関係詞で文と文をスマートにつなげよう！関係代名詞（who, which, that）と関係副詞（when, where, why, how）を使い分けられれば、長い文章も怖くない。
受動態は「〜される」という表現で、be動詞+過去分詞の形を作る。「This book was written by him」みたいに、誰がやったかより何がされたかに注目したい時に使うんだ。
仮定法は現実とは違うことや願望を表す超便利な表現！「If I were you, I would study harder」のように、ありえない状況を想像する時に使う。宝くじが当たったらとか、背が高かったらとか、日常的な願望も表現できるよ。
ポイント： 仮定法は「もし〜だったら」の妄想を英語で表現する方法！
